How to explain kid why he doesn't have a father?
    reemreem1 posted:
Hello to all of you, I'm new here and I'm seeking a help from all of you. I'm single mother and I have a 6 years old child who started to go to school. As a single mother, I tried to follow those tips that are gathered in this site , but my child is getting more curious about his father and why he doesn't have one while other kids have it. I think the biggest problem is that during classes teacher ask kids to draw their families or talk about both parents. I know it's necessary talk, but it's making me uncomfortable. Since my child is smart and can read very well and prefers encyclopedias to understand certain facts. Maybe after explaining where his father is, I should let him read article about single parents on Wikipedia ? What do you think?
