I have smoked off and on for years. This last time I started again was 6 years ago. I live with a lot of severe stress in my life and that always triggers it. I have tried gum, the patch, Chantix and hypnosis and nothing has worked for long. I really want to quit this time for good. If anybody has suggestions on another way that has worked for them please let me know! Like is such a thing as a support group like there is for drinking?

I can't tell you how happy I am that you've decided to quit smoking! You are without a doubt doing the right thing for your health and wellness.

I'm also glad to see that you've entertained the idea of support groups. There are such things as support groups geared to help people with their smoking addiction! Here is information on how to find a support group in your area .
