    AC Joint Strain
    Newks2000 posted:
I believe I have a Grade I AC joint strain. The clavicle is not raised and I have full range of motion. The joint itself is VERY sensitive to the touch and any pressure against movement of the arm is painful. I have an international Rugby match in 4 days. The injury occurred two days ago. My question is, Can I limit the potential of further injury through any sort of taping of the shoulder? Not playing is not an option. Is there any way to limit further injury while still participating in the Rugby match. Thank you!

Duke Wyre shoulder harness (canvas). Limits extension, subluxation and provides compression. HAve been using it for 30 years at rugby and ice hockey. Best shoulder support harness ever devised.
