    Yes, how are you now?

I found out how to learn to swallow better from this website, which neither of 2 gastroenterologists knew about. That is speech therapy which teaches you exercises.

But, no, I did not have Wallenberg, instead a carotid artery dissection stroke.

Hi, I just read your reply to my post on "how to gain weight after a stroke". My husband also had speech therapy. It was strange tho that his swallowing problem came 2 1/2 years after his stroke. This compounded my efforts to have him gain weight. He does better now with the swallowing therapy. He loves dairy products -milk, cottage cheese, even eggnog. He does not like sweets much. He likes meat. He uses applesauce and cottage cheese to help with his swallowing. I just wish there was something to help him gain weight as he is practically skin and bones.
