I had my last 2 tramadol on Sunday afternoon! I'm on day 3 of my way to get off these pills! I have been feeling fatigued, but I've been making myself do things and taking vitamins and antioxidants! I had a strange thing just happened about a half hour ago! I suddenly have gotten energy and feel alert! Is this normal?

    Hi Ekh79,

I'm proud of you for taking a step in the right direction. Stripping your life of dependency will not only free you of physical chains but also emotional ones.

Does your doctor know that you are withdrawing from Tramadol? It is important that you communicate with him/her so he/she can help guide you through this process. He/she will be able to tell you what to expect and if certain symptoms/side effects are normal.

Click here to read more about treatment options for an addiction to painkillers . You will be able to read more about withdrawal symptoms there.

Other than feeling alert and energized, are you having any other symptoms?

    Please keep us posted!
