I have suffered from thyroid disease for 9 years now. First I was hyper, then I became hypo in 2012 after taking the RAI pill twice. I have been on levythyroxine(SYNTHROID) since. Even though my levels are in range after several increases of my dosage which took about a year by the way, my body was still not back to normal until I realized that nutrient deficiency was the main issue. This is the reason why we suffer from other ailments such as cholesterol, high blood pressure and yes vitamin d deficiency.
We need to also be aware of the side affects of the medications that the doctors put us on because they may be causing us to have other symptoms.
It's always good to research to form your own opinion.
